오직 예수안에서

오늘은 우리가 이곳에서 드리는 마지막 주일예배입니다. 다음 주부터는 하나님께서 예비하신 새로운 장소에서 예배 드리게 됩니다.

우리 교회가 처음 예배를 드린 곳은 요가학원이 었습니다. 당시 미주 전도폭발 기도팀이 우리 교회의 예배 장소를 위해 기도하던 중 어느 전도폭발 강사님의 연결로 그 공간을 사용할 수 있게 되었습니다. 현재 예배 드리고 있는 이 장소는 어느 목사님의 소개로 알게 되어 신학교 총장님을 찾아 뵐 수 있었습니다. 총장님은 이전까지 외부에 강의실을 렌트한 적이 없었지만 우리 교회를 위해 기꺼이 메인 강의실을 내어 주셨습니다.

다음 주부터 예배드릴 새 장소는 루터란 미국 교회입니다. 제가 그 교회의 목사님을 방문했을 때 이미 다른 교회가 컨택되어 인터뷰 일정까지 잡혀 있다는 이야기를 듣고 발걸음을 돌리려던 순간 목사님께서 “그래도 한번 신청해 보라”고 적극 권유해 주셨습니다. 그 권유에 따라 신청을 했고 카운슬 멤버들과의 인터뷰를 거쳐 우리 교회가 예배 장소를 사용할 수 있도록 결정되었습니다.

예배 장소를 세 번 옮기는 과정마다 하나님께서 꼭 필요한 사람들을 붙여 주셨습니다. 하나님의 세밀한 인도하심에 진심으로 찬양과 감사를 드립니다. 무엇보다 예배당에서 예배 드리기를 간절히 기도해 주신 교우 여러분의 기도를 하나님께서 기억하시고 응답해 주신 것에 깊이 감사드립니다. 모든 영광을 하나님께 올려드립니다. 할렐루야!

Today marks our final Sunday worship service at this location. Starting next week, we will worship at the new location God has prepared for us.

The very first place where our church held worship was a yoga studio. At that time, the Evangelism Explosion prayer team in North America was praying for a worship space for our church, and through the connection of one of the EE instructors, we were able to use that location. A pastor introduced us to the place where we currently worship. Through his introduction, we met with the president of a seminary. Though the school had never previously rented out its classrooms to outsiders, the president graciously allowed us to use the main lecture hall for our worship services.

The new place where we will begin worship next week is a Lutheran American church. When I first visited the pastor of that church, I was told that another church had already been contacted and was scheduled for an interview. I was about to turn back, but the pastor encouraged me to apply anyway. Following his advice, we submitted our application, interviewed the church council, and were ultimately approved to use the space for our worship.

Each time we needed a new worship location, God provided the right people at the right time. We sincerely praise and thank God for His detailed and faithful guidance.

Above all, we are deeply grateful that God heard and answered the earnest prayers of our members who longed to worship in a dedicated sanctuary. All glory be to God. Hallelujah!
