오직 예수안에서

하나님의 섭리를 이해하는 데 있어 매우 중요한 원리는 단 하나의 일도 우연히 일어나는 것은 없다는 사실입니다. 모든 일에는 하나님의 보이지 않는 섭리가 담겨 있습니다. 오늘 우리가 이렇게 아름다운 예배당에서 예배 드리게 된 것도 하나님의 선하신 섭리가 작용해 온 결과임을 함께 마음에 새기길 원합니다.

이 예배당에서 매주 예배를 드리며 개인과 교회 전체가 하나님께서 행하시는 선하신 섭리를 경험하길 소망합니다. 잠깐 피었다 사라지는 아침 안개 같은 짧은 인생 속에서 정말 복된 여정을 걸어갈 수 있기를 바랍니다.

저는 개척을 준비하던 때부터 하나님의 선하신 섭리를 분명히 목도하며 놀라움의 연속을 경험해 왔습니다. 그런 점에서 남가주 보배로운 교회를 선하게 이끌어 가시는 하나님의 섭리는 이미 확정되었으며 그 확정된 섭리를 고백하며 하나님을 찬양합니다.

모든 영광 하나님께!!! Soli Deo Gloria!!! Glory to God alone!!!

A very important principle in understanding God’s providence is the truth that not a single event happens by chance. Behind everything is the unseen hand of God’s providence. I hope we will all take to heart that our worship in this beautiful sanctuary today is the result of God’s good and sovereign plan at work.

As we worship in this sanctuary each week, I hope that both individuals and the church as a whole will experience the goodness of God’s providence in action. In this life—so brief, like morning mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes—I pray that we may walk a truly blessed journey.

Since the early days of preparing for this church plant, I have clearly witnessed God’s good providence time and time again, often with a sense of awe. In that light, I declare with confidence that the providence of God, who is graciously leading Precious Church of Southern California, has already been firmly established—and I praise Him for it.
